Directions from QEW to the Museum & Visitor Centre at Lock 3:
• Take Glendale exit South from QEW
• Right turn on to Taylor Rd
• Left turn on to Queenston St
• Left turn on to Welland Canal Parkway
• Museum on the left
First stop at 9:00 – 9:30 am to get rolling…
St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canal Visitor Centre
1932 Welland Canals Parkway
Admission is free but donations welcome. We will tour the museum and view Lock 3 until 10:30. Then leaving the Centre:
• Turn right on to Welland Canal Parkway
• At lights turn right on to Queenston St.
• At lights turn left on to Niagara Stone Rd (Rd 55)
Second stop – 11:00 – Wayne Gretzky Estates Vineyard – Rd 55
• Right side of Niagara Stone Rd (Rd 55)
Third Stop – 11:45 – Silversmith Brewing Co – Virgil
Lunch at 11:45. Located on Road 55 past Four Mile Creek Rd on the right.
Then after lunch:
• Right on to Niagara Stone Rd (55) to Niagara-on-the-Lake town centre.
• Turn right on to Queen St which turns into Picton St, then Queen’s Parade and finally the Niagara River Parkway as we leave Niagara-on-the-Lake. Proceed south then left onto Queenston Road.
Fourth Stop – Laura Secord Homestead & The Mackenzie Printery Museum
The Printery is number 1 Queenston Rd and the Homestead is at number 29. Two blocks apart. We will visit the Printery first followed by the Homestead. Both have admission fees of less than $10. Full details for both can be found under the drop-down Heritage:

After we have toured the Homestead and loaded up with chocolates we return to the Niagara River Parkway and turn left down to The Falls for a drive by which ends the drive. Make your own way home.
For anyone who does not want to drive past the falls you can take Hwy 405 back to the QEW.
