The Ontario Jaguar Owners’ Association is pleased to invite members and guests to one of the most anticipated events on our club calendar — the 2026 OJOA Annual Luncheon & Awards Gala at the historic Old Mill Toronto.
This year’s gathering will celebrate Jaguar’s past, present and future, bringing together remarkable stories from the marque’s history with a look toward the next chapter of Jaguar.
Celebrating 75 Years Since Jaguar’s First Le Mans Victory
2026 marks the 75th anniversary of Jaguar’s first victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1951 — a milestone that helped establish Jaguar as one of the world’s great performance marques.
OJOA historian Steve Sherriff and Paul Freeman, who brings the perspective of an extraordinary 50 years working with Jaguar Land Rover, will present a special look back at the 1951 race and Jaguar’s historic success at Le Mans.
Special Guest — Automotive Artist Jay Koka
We are also delighted to welcome renowned automotive artist Jay Koka.
Jay’s automotive artwork will be familiar to many OJOA members, and his Jaguar prints have previously been featured and auctioned at our club luncheons. Jay will speak about his work, his artistic process and the world of automotive art.
A selection of Jay Koka Jaguar prints will also be offered through a live auction during the event.
Jaguar — Past, Present & Future
Along with celebrating Jaguar’s historic achievements, the afternoon will also look toward the marque’s future and the arrival of Jaguar’s new design direction, including the much-discussed Type 01.
It promises to be an afternoon celebrating the cars, history, people and stories that continue to make Jaguar such a distinctive marque.

The cost is $65 per person, which includes the premium Old Mill buffet, taxes, gratuities and parking.
The OJOA is substantially subsidizing the cost of the luncheon to make this special annual event accessible to as many members as possible.
A cash bar will be available. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in our raffle and the live auction of selected Jay Koka Jaguar prints.
Members wishing to contribute a raffle basket are also very welcome to do so.

Ancaster Car Show (Non-OJOA Event)

The Ancaster British Car Flea Market and Car Show is held on the second last Sunday in April at the Ancaster Fairgrounds, at the intersection of Hwy 2&53 (Wilson St) and Hwy 52 (Trinity Rd). This annual event is Southern Ontario’s largest British car parts flea market featuring both used and new parts for all types of British cars. You will also find books, clothing, regalia, car club information and much more.
Open from 9:00 to 2:00, Admission is $10.00 (Youth under 18 are free).
Come and browse the vendors tables inside Marritt Hall. More parts and cars for sale at the outside vendors area.

OJOA CONCOURS JUDGING DOCUMENT
We would like to remind our membership that our departure from JCNA required the creation of new Concours rules, especially in the field of judging. Steve Sherriff, our Concours chief judge for many years, has a broad background with not just the former JCNA Concours, but also through personal participation at a collection of prestigious judged car shows spread internationally. He created a judging rules foundation specifically for the OJOA, and has made some modifications based on feedback from attendees at the Burgess Garage Event earlier this month, where his document was first revealed.
The final version for 2026 is attached on this email. We invite everybody to read this to gain an understanding of what to expect at our Concours event.
JCNA had three entry categories, Championship, Driven, and Special. The OJOA will also have three and will be labelled, Concours, OJOA Club, and Special.
For those who were familiar with the JCNA judging format, authenticity, condition, and cleanliness will remain the three areas that will direct the judges’ focus in the Concours and OJOA Club classes. However, the system for recording deductions will be easier, and the operation verification component present in the JCNA rules has been greatly reduced.
Prior entrants who have been judged in the JCNA Driven category will notice that the OJOA Club division will be subjected to comparatively more leniency from the judges. These Jaguars are expected to experience regular use, and wear and tear coming from that will be anticipated. The engine compartment in this OJOA Club category will be judged, but the pristine expectation in the Concours category will be relaxed.
The Specials category judging will forfeit the authenticity demand and reward clever modification improvements with bonus scoring points.
Members who have never entered a Concours before are strongly encouraged to participate now. Jaguars are not only meant to be driven but to be admired by the public. The greater the turnout by our members, the more impressive the spectacle that the OJOA will create with their Jaguars. Come out and enjoy the day by entering your gem in the Display category, and for only $5 more, you can have you Jag judged by knowledgeable members in the field of Jaguars. The results will give you an indication where improvements can be made.
Please download and complete the registration form. The cost to enter is low, especially considering that this includes your free admission to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, a fabulous facility on its own.

Something Rotten OJOA Stratford Festival Day
Join fellow OJOA members for a wonderful summer day in Stratford featuring theatre, great food, and a behind-the-scenes look at one of Canada's premier performing arts venues.
Our day begins at 11:00 a.m. with an exclusive tour of the Stratford Festival Costume & Props Warehouse, followed by lunch in downtown Stratford, where members can enjoy one of the city's many excellent restaurants.
We'll then gather at the Festival Theatre for the 2:00 p.m. matinee performance of Something Rotten!, the acclaimed Broadway comedy about two brothers in Shakespearean London who set out to create the world's first musical.

Wilderness, Heritage, Automobiles & the Thousand Islands
The Ontario Jaguar Owners Association invites members and guests to join one of our most anticipated events of the year — a curated four-day grand touring experience through Ontario’s most scenic and historic regions.
Taking place from July 24 to July 27, 2026, this year’s WHAT! Drive blends engaging driving roads with relaxed exploration, combining natural beauty, heritage destinations, and memorable group experiences.
Beginning in Bracebridge, the route travels through Algonquin Park, with highlights including the Dorset Observation Tower and the Logging Museum. The journey continues toward Ottawa, where participants can choose between the Ottawa Jaguar Club’s Jaguar Day or a visit to the National Gallery of Canada.
Further along, the drive features Upper Canada Village, historic forts, and Fulford Place, before a highlight stretch along the Thousand Islands Parkway. A private group boat cruise offers stunning views of the St. Lawrence River and surrounding islands.
The final day brings the group through Prince Edward County, with a relaxed lunch and a closing reception at Sandbanks Winery.
Spanning approximately 870 kilometres, the drive is designed to be enjoyable and unhurried, with curated stops, comfortable accommodations, and time to connect with fellow members.

Join us for a special OJOA Garage Gathering on Sunday, July 12th starting at 10:00 AM, hosted at the home of Tony Burgess and Josephine O’Brien, featuring their spectacular Jaguar collection.
This event is open to all OJOA members and their spouses and is designed to be a relaxed, social gathering. While we will introduce the newly simplified Concours rules, the primary focus of the day is to connect, enjoy great cars, and spend time together as a club.
A complimentary lunch will be provided, along with seating arrangements for attendees.

LAKE SCUGOG BOAT RIDE & BBQ
Join your fellow OJOA members for a summer day on the water in picturesque Port Perry!
Following our Annual General Meeting, we are thrilled to invite you to a classic "three-hour tour"—minus the Gilligan’s Island mishaps. We’ve organized a fleet of pontoon boats, captained by our very own OJOA members who are licensed powerboat operators, for a scenic cruise across Lake Scugog.
Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a dedicated "landlubber," this event offers the perfect blend of nautical adventure and backyard relaxation.

The Itinerary
The Cruise: We will be renting 10-passenger pontoon boats from John Mackey at the Port Perry Marina. Safety is our priority: all captains are licensed, and lifejackets will be provided for everyone on board as per marine regulations.
The Feast: After three hours on the water, we’ll head back to dry land for a summer barbecue hosted at a local member's residence. Our "celebrity chef" will be manning the grill starting at 4:30 PM.
Not a fan of the water? No problem! You are more than welcome to skip the boat ride and join us directly at 4:30 PM for the food, drinks, and camaraderie.

Deadline: Friday, April 24th. Because the marina books up rapidly once the sunny weather hits, we must secure and pay for the boats in advance. Immediate payment is required to confirm your spot.
